At Feller, quality
management systems have been in place for more than three decades. The
first approval received was BS5750 (in the absence of applicable ISO
standards), which was granted in 1986 and was an Austrian first.
In 1989, the system
was upgraded to ISO 9002 and in 2002 Feller was certified to ISO 9001:
2000. Currently all manufacturing locations are operating in accordance
with the guidelines of ISO 9001:2015. 2017, the standard SA 8000:2014
was implemented into the management system.
Management System is audited at regular intervals by several
international certification bodies (TÜV Austria, Intertek,
SII, SABS, CCC, TÜV Rheinland, etc.).
Additionally factory inspections (UL, CSA, VDE, ÖVE, etc.) are
regularly carried out.

and CELESTICA (TCOO).
In 1993, Feller defined its first Environmental Policy Statement, which is now part of our Integrated Management System.
R&D and In House Tool making
tool-and-die shop is equipped with state-of-the art machinery,
including CNC spark-erosion machines. Several toolmakers are employed
in a 2-shift operation. Mold-tools, extrusion-dies, crimp-tools, and
sub-assembly systems are customized and build in house. Some 100+
different mold-tools for national plug configurations, another 100+
mold-tools for connectors, plus 100+ special and customized mold-tools
are constantly maintained, updated, and being built for
4 manufacturing plants. Component-, product-, tool-, and system-design
is carried out in the R&D department with a 3 D-CAD-system.
CAD-data are routinely exchanged with customers and suppliers.
The bulk cables are
fully tested using online diameter and high voltage conrtrols.
Our cord sets and
power supply cords are also fully tested for short and open circuits as
well as any defects. Additionally a high voltage test for potential
flashover between all conductors and the outer contour of plugs and
connectors is also performed to full extent.
Defective cables are reliably cut and disregarded within the process.
